USE OF GOOGLE ANALYTICS

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, i.e. text files that are stored on your computer and enable analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, on account of activation of IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states that are signatories to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will only be transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide the website operator with services associated with website use and internet use. The IP address sent by your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data by Google. The purposes of data processing are the evaluation of use of the website and the compiling of reports of activities on the website. Further associated services are then to be performed on the basis of use of the website. Processing is based on the legitimate interest of the website operator. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, please note that in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. In addition, you can prevent Google from collecting and processing the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available via the following link:  browser add-on for disabling Google Analytics.

This website uses Google Maps API for the visual display of geographical information. When Google Maps is in use, Google also collects, processes and uses data relating to use of the map functions by visitors. Further information on data processing by Google can be found in  the Google data privacy policy eYou can also change your personal privacy settings there in the Privacy Centre. Detailed instructions on managing your own data in connection with Google products can be found here.

GOOGLE ADWORDS

Our website uses Google conversion tracking. If you access our website via an advertisement placed by Google, a cookie is deposited on your computer by Google AdWords. The cookie for conversion tracking is deposited if a user clicks on an advertisement placed by Google. These cookies cease to be valid after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits specific pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can detect that the user clicked on the advertisement and was forwarded to this page. All Google AdWords customers receive a different cookie. Therefore, cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained by means of the conversion cookie is used to prepare conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The customers find out the total number of users who have clicked on their advertisement and been forwarded to a page equipped with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.

If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can reject the requisite depositing of a cookie, for instance via a browser setting that disables the automatic depositing of cookies altogether, or you can set your browser in such a way that cookies from the domain “googleleadservices.com” are blocked.

Please note that you must not delete the opt-out cookies if you do not want measurement data to be recorded. If you have deleted all your cookies in the browser, you must deposit the respective opt-out cookie again.

EMBEDDED YOUTUBE VIDEOS

We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator of the corresponding plug-in is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit a page with the YouTube plug-in, a connection to YouTube servers is established. YouTube is notified of what pages you visit here. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can personally assign your surfing behaviour to you. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

If a YouTube video is started, the provider deposits cookies that collect information on user behaviour. Anyone who has disabled the storage of cookies for the Google Ads program cannot expect any such cookies, even when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies.

If you wish to prevent this, you must block the saving of cookies in your browser. Further information on data protection on “YouTube” can be found in the provider’s privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy
