Kuchl's wonderful wood festival is held every three years. Over three days, around 10,000 visitors are expected to descend on the premises of the Kuchl Knowledge Campus. Along the craft trail and in the timber yards, experience the craft of the basket weavers and makers of rakes, shingles, handguns and fountain basis, as well as chainsaw sculptors. The Kuchl wood festival also has a culinary dimension: at the Kuchl farmers' market, there is a vast array of regional delicacies to enjoy on site and to take away. Various trades are on display in the exhibition arena: building and furnishing with wood, woodcraft, wood research, and training & careers in the wood industry. There is also a range of fun activities for children: various animation programmes, working and playing with wood, a hay bouncy castle and further attractions are available.
