Nesslangeralm is an alpine hut situated at the foot of the Hoher Göll, and is a popular destination among hikers. After a successful ascent across meadows and through forests, you are rewarded with an incredibly beautiful view of the mountains: the Hoher Göll, the Osterhorngruppe and the Tennen mountains provide an unforgettable landscape. The Struber family serves regional delicacies there at Nesslangeralm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in the summer.

Variant 2: Hiking trail no. 21 starts after the motorway underpass and then continues along the former alpine path no. 451a, walking time approx. 2.5 hours, medium difficulty.

Route description: Go over the Salzach bridge, then turn right. After a few metres, turn left at the signposts towards the motorway underpass. Variant 2 starts here at the yellow signposts.
Anyone who wants to skip a bit of the climb should follow the road uphill towards the "Schöne Aussicht". Shortly after the inn, take a sharp right onto a narrow road heading towards "Hochschaufler", which leads to the small car park at the Hochschaufler guest house (variant 1).
